This last Saturday 12 of my friends and I participated in the Pub Crawl for Cancer. We have been doing it for the last five years and it has to be one of the best experiences ever. This year we all had to be counted since we broke the Guiness Book of World Records for largest pub crawl in the world. This was also the first year that it has been held at Power and Light. Now I am not a huge fan of KCP&L but I have to say it really made a difference in the experience. In the past, when it was held at Westport it was crowded and you had to walk from bar to bar (or risk your life riding on a bus with crazy drivers). Making memories is what life is all about right? 10 bars, 20 pitchers, and 1 crazy, memory-making day.
Glad you had a great time AND raised money for a very worthwhile cause. It is always good when the volunteers enjoy themselves and share the experience with others. They might be interested in joining next time and remember your fun story.
